/The City Formerly Known As Cambridge

This was a project for The Institute for Infinitely Small Things with support from the Cambridge Arts Council. I collaborated with two other designers on this map and we worked with a cartographer as well. The Institute came to us with this project and we were very happy to be apart of it because we were familiar with their work and they have some very creative ideas. The idea was, what would the city look like if people could rename all of the public spaces, right now. In a series of thirteen renaming events, residents of Cambridge had the chance to rename any place they wanted to whatever name they wanted for whatever reason. The map has been published and is for sale at the Institute of Contemporary Art.
